Not wearing a seatbelt 

Not wearing a seatbelt - benefits are reduced by 25%.

A driver or passenger who is not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, will receive a 25% reduction to any entitlements they may have for the following benefits: 



An injured driver or passenger may be entitled to reasonable medical, hospital and rehabilitation benefits.


If a driver or passenger dies as a result of the accident, there will be a reduction of 25% to any family entitlements to the following benefits:
