The driver, rider or owner of a motor vehicle that has been unregistered for more than 3 months and is involved in a single-vehicle accident is not covered by the MAC Scheme.


Exclusion from the MAC Scheme also applies when a conditionally registered vehicle is used outside its registration conditions.
